Off Season CB/Mt. CB Town Bus Schedule
The Fall Off Season Schedule will begin September 28, 2026 and run through November 24, 2026.
The CB/ Mt. CB Town Bus operates every 40 minutes throughout the towns of Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte during the off season.
Route
The CB/ Mt. CB Town Bus loops through Crested Butte with stops at Old Town Hall, 6th and Belleview, the 4-Way Stop and Teocalli. On its way up to Mt. Crested Butte, the CB/ Mt. CB Town Bus stops at Crystal Road on demand only. You must let the driver know you want to disembark. It then proceeds to stop at Wood Creek/Mountain Edge, The Plaza and Mountaineer Square. On its scheduled departure for Crested Butte, it has stops at Three Seasons/Outrun, Mountain Sunrise, Chateaux and Pitchfork.
Frequency
The CB/Mt. CB Town Bus runs every 40 minutes.
- First Bus CB to Mt CB: departs Old Town Hall at 7:35 AM
- First Bus Mt CB to CB: departs Mountaineer Square at 8:00 AM
- Last Bus CB to Mt CB: departs Old Town Hall at 10:55 AM
- Last Bus Mt CB to CB: departs Mountaineer Square at 11:20 PM

Please Note:
Our primary concern is to keep passengers safe during any season. The occasional snow shower during non-Winter months can create unsafe conditions so that the CB/Mt. CB Town Bus might not be able to stop on Gothic at Crystal and Castle Roads. If you think this is a possibility, it might not be a bad idea to walk up to the Wood Creek/Mountain Edge bus stop on Snowmass Road on the buses way up the mountain.
