There are lots of options for transportation around Gunnison County, and to and from Denver and Colorado’s Front Range. We’ve compiled a helpful list for you below which includes links to other transportation services, as well as other local services.
TRANSIT LINKS
Gunnison Valley RTA
Free shuttle between Mt. CB and Gunnison. Operated by Alpine Express.
Alpine Express
Transportation to/from Gunnison and Montrose Airports; charter service to Denver, Colorado Springs, and Grand Junction; chartered events; mountain tours, trailhead pickup/drop off services; and local transit service.
Late Night Taxi
In partnership with CO West, Mountain Express provides a late-night shuttle service around downtown Crested Butte. The late-night shuttle runs seven days a week, from 10:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m. and costs a flat fee of $10 per ride.
Please call 970-209-0509 for availability or find the late-night shuttle at common stops such as Talk of the Town, Kochevar’s Saloon, The Eldo and The Dogwood.

Gunnison County Senior Transportation
Gunnison Living Community provides transportation services to the Young at Heart lunch, Community Center, and in-town errands on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. To arrange a ride, please call 970-596-6700, at least 24 hours in advance of needing a ride. There is no charge for those 60+, however donations a gratefully accepted and encouraged. Dolly's Mountain Shuttle
A year-round shuttle service; services all summer-time and winter-time trail heads in the valley, can carry mountain bikes, skis and more and can shuttle to Gunnison Airport and Aspen.
