MX manages its Lost & Found differently depending on the season. Be sure to check below for seasonal procedures.
MX is not responsible for lost or found items.
Items found on MX buses are kept on hand for 2 weeks from the day we find them.

In general, items found on the buses are kept in a locked closet in the Transit Center at Mountaineer Square. Sometimes a driver will keep a found item on the bus during the shift in case you are out and about and want to check the bus.
To check the lost and found, you can ask a MX driver to assist you or call (970) 349-7318, 7 days a week, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If you call this number during these hours and no one answers, please hang up and call back in a few minutes. Outside of this time frame, ask a MX driver to assist you.
You can turn in found items to a MX driver or the CB/Mt CB Chamber staff person.
More expensive items may be taken to the MX Office in Crested Butte. Call (970) 349-5616 if you think your item might be there.

Lost and found works the same way during the summer except perhaps for the hours of operation at (970) 349-7318. Check back during the summer for exact times.
